13:12-23.Ā Canal and banking company acting through officers thereof; execution of contracts, conveyances, etc.
The board of directors of the canal and banking company are hereby authorized and directed in behalf of the canal and banking company to do or cause to be done by the officers of the canal and banking company, thereunto authorized by the board of directors, all acts and things and to execute or cause to be executed all contracts, instruments of conveyance, consents, leasesĀ or other documents authorized or directed by the provisions of this chapter toĀ be done or executed by the canal and banking company or which its board ofĀ directors shall deem expedient to be done or executed for the purpose of thisĀ chapter.
