13:12-27.Ā Receipts from sales or rentals of property;Ā payment into state treasury
The canal and banking company, by its general manager or by any officer thereunto duly authorized by its board of directors, shall be entitled to and is hereby authorized to receive and receipt for the purchase price, rentals or other income of any property sold or let as authorized by any of the provisionsĀ of this chapter, and to receive and receipt for the consideration paid upon theĀ granting of any consent, as authorized by any of the provisions of thisĀ chapter.Ā All moneys so received by the canal and banking company shall be paidĀ into the state treasury not later than the tenth of the month following thatĀ during which such moneys were collected or received.
