13:8-37.Ā Use of state lands;Ā acquisition of lands or interests in land
The department may use for trail purposes lands owned by the State, with theĀ concurrence of the head of the administering agency, and may acquire lands orĀ interests in land by scenic easements, written cooperative agreement, eminentĀ domain, donation, purchase with donated or appropriated funds, or exchange. Acquisition of land or interest shall be accomplished with all possibleĀ speed.
