13:8-60.Ā Inclusion of component river areas in national wild and scenic rivers system
The Governor is hereby authorized to make application on behalf of the StateĀ for the inclusion of component river areas of the New Jersey Wild and ScenicĀ Rivers System in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.Ā The Governor isĀ further authorized to enter into written cooperative agreements concerning suchĀ inclusion and for the joint Federal-State administration of a New JerseyĀ component river area of such system;Ā provided, however, that no such agreementĀ for the administration of such area shall be less restrictive than theĀ provisions of this act or the rules and regulations promulgated pursuantĀ hereto.
