16:19-6.Ā President;Ā powers and duties
The trustees shall elect at their first meeting one of their number to be the president of the board of trustees.Ā The president may convene the board asĀ occasion may require, preside at the meetings thereof, and may execute, for andĀ in the name of the board of trustees, all contracts, deeds, leases, mortgagesĀ or other instruments required to be executed by the board.Ā In case of hisĀ absence, sickness, death, resignation or removal from the limits of theĀ association, the board of trustees shall elect one of their number to fill theĀ office of president for the time being, who shall occupy the same until theĀ disability of the president is removed or until the election of his successor.
