16:2-12.Ā Incorporation under this article
When any Baptist church, the trustees of which are incorporated under article 1 of chapter 1 of this title (s. 16:1-1 et seq.), desires to incorporateĀ under the provisions of this article and complies with the requirements ofĀ sections 16:2-1 and 16:2-2 of this title and files the certificate thereinĀ provided, such church shall thereupon become a corporation, with all theĀ privileges and liabilities contained in this article.Ā The corporation composedĀ of the trustees of such church shall thereupon be dissolved, and the title toĀ all the real and personal property of the former corporation shall vest in theĀ new one.
