16:6-3.Ā Conference;Ā powers with relation to extinct churches or religiousĀ societies
TheĀ "Trustees of the New York Conference of the Free Methodist Church" may, in pursuance of a resolution by it:
a.Ā Sell the property of any such extinct church or religious society and convey the same to the purchaser by deed in its corporate name;
b.Ā Convert any and all securities of any such extinct church or religious society into cash;Ā and
c.Ā Receipt for cancellation mortgages and other evidences of indebtedness belonging to and standing open of record in the name of the extinct church or religious society.
