17:14A-70.Ā Examination of safe deposit companies by commissioner
The commissioner shall, whenever and as often as he shall deem it advisable,Ā cause the affairs of every safe deposit company to be examined to determineĀ whether the company is conducting its business in conformity with the laws ofĀ this State and its certificate of incorporation, and with safety to itsĀ lessees, creditors and the public.
The officers and employees of every safe deposit company, being examined shall exhibit to the examiners all its securities, books, records and accounts and shall otherwise facilitate the examination so far as it may be in their power.
