17:38-1.2.Ā Law applicable
Section 17B:26-2 of Title 17B shall not apply to fraternal benefit societiesĀ nor shall that part of section 17B:26-4 apply which requires that the policy,Ā including the endorsements and the attached papers, if any, constitutes theĀ entire contract of insurance.Ā The wordĀ "policy"Ā as used in chapter 26 ofĀ Title 17B shall meanĀ "certificate"Ā as applied to fraternal benefitĀ societies.
