17:48A-17.Ā Examination of assets and affairs;Ā assistants
The Commissioner of Banking and Insurance shall have the power, whenever heĀ deems the same expedient, to make or cause to be made an examination of theĀ assets and liabilities, method of conducting business and all other affairs ofĀ every medical service corporation authorized or which has made application forĀ authority to transact business under the provisions of this chapter.Ā For theĀ purpose of such examination the commissioner may commission and employ suchĀ persons to conduct the same or to assist therein as he may deem advisable,Ā which examination may be conducted in any State in which the corporationĀ examined has an office, agent or place of business.
