17:48C-30.Ā Violations of chapter;Ā penalty and recovery thereof; misdemeanors
Any dental service corporation which shall have violated any of the provisions of, or shall have neglected, failed or refused to comply with, any of the requirements of this act, except the failure to file an annual statementĀ and the failure to reply in writing to inquiries of the commissioner, shall beĀ liable to a penalty of $500.00, to be sued for and collected by theĀ commissioner in a civil action in the name of the State. The penalties whenĀ recovered shall be paid by the commissioner into the State Treasury for the useĀ of the State.Ā Any officer, agent, employee or member of any such corporationĀ or any other person who shall issue, circulate or cause or permit to beĀ circulated, any estimate, illustration, circular of any sort misrepresentingĀ the terms of any contract issued by such corporation or misrepresent theĀ benefits or advantages promised thereby, or use any name or title of anyĀ contract or class of contracts misrepresenting the true nature thereof shall beĀ guilty of a misdemeanor.
