17:9A-90.1.Ā Voting trusts
Agreements hereafter made between two or more of the stockholders of a bankĀ pursuant to which stock of the bank held by them is transferred to or depositedĀ with a trustee or agent for the purpose of vesting in such trustee or agent theĀ right to vote thereon, shall be invalid;Ā provided, that nothing hereinĀ contained shall prohibit a stockholder of a bank from depositing stock of aĀ bank with a trustee or agent under the terms of a voting trust agreement presently lawfully in effect.
