18A:17-32.Ā Bond of treasurer
If the treasurer is an officer of the municipality constituting the district, and the bond given by him for the faithful performance of his duties as such municipal officer covers and secures the faithful performance of his duties as treasurer of school moneys, and it shall be so certified to the boardĀ by a certificate of such coverage by the bondsman thereon and the amountĀ thereof is sufficient to cover both the original and the additional liabilityĀ he shall not be required to give additional bond but otherwise or if he is notĀ such an officer he shall give bond for the faithful performance of his dutiesĀ as treasurer of school moneys in such amount, and with such surety, as theĀ board shall direct.Ā In each case the board in its determination of the amountĀ shall be guided by a schedule of minimum limits to be promulgated by the StateĀ board.
