18A:22-13.Ā Public hearing;Ā objections;Ā heard, etc.
On the date and at the time and place, so fixed, the board of school estimate or the board of education, as the case may be, shall hold such public hearing at which the taxpayers and other interested persons shall have an opportunity to present objections and to be heard with respect to said budget and the amounts of money necessary to be appropriated and the various items andĀ purposes for which the same are to be appropriated for the use of the publicĀ schools in the district for the ensuing school year.
