18A:58-36.Ā State appropriation for construction of area vocational school facilities
The state board, in addition to its other budget requests concerning state aid for vocational education, shall formulate annual budget requests for state support for the construction of area vocational education school facilities. Within the limit of funds appropriated to the state board for such purposes, and in accordance with rules and regulations prescribed by the state board, theĀ board of education of a county vocational school system, or the board of education of any school district may apply to the state board and receive stateĀ support for the construction of area vocational education school facilities inĀ amounts not to exceed one fourth of the cost of said construction.Ā The fundsĀ appropriated for this purpose shall be combined with that portion of fundsĀ received from the federal government under the vocational education act of 1963Ā (77 Stat. 403, Public Law 88-210) required by said act to be used forĀ construction of area vocational education school facilities.
