18A:6-23.Ā Witness fees and privileges
Every witness shall be entitled to be paid for attendance, or attendance andĀ travel, at any hearing, by the party on whose behalf he is subpoenaed, at theĀ rates prescribed by law for attendance in the courts of this state in a civilĀ action, before being required to testify and shall be entitled to all theĀ privileges of a witness so subpoenaed.
