18A:65-18.Ā  Oaths Each governor and each trustee taking office, before entering on the dutiesĀ  of his office, shall take and subscribe an oath or affirmation to support theĀ  constitution of the state of New Jersey and of the United States, to bearĀ  allegiance to the government of the state, and to perform the duties of hisĀ  office faithfully, impartially and justly, to the best of his ability.
