18A:65-73.Ā Membership in public employees' retirement system of New Jersey
Any person holding office, position or employment in the university who wasĀ a member of the public employees' retirement system of New Jersey on April 16,Ā 1945 may continue his membership therein and any person thereafter appointed toĀ any office, position or employment in the university shall be eligible toĀ membership therein on the same terms and conditions as persons holding office,Ā position or employment under the state, except as otherwise provided in thisĀ article.
