2A:17-28.Ā Selection of exemption on death of execution defendant
If an execution defendant dies after execution issued, and a levy and sale of personal property be made thereafter, the exemption selection to be reservedĀ for the use of his family shall be made by the person or persons entitled toĀ make such selection by section 3A:8-7 of the title Administration ofĀ Estates--Decedents and Others.Ā If the property reserved for the benefit of theĀ family of the decedent shall be set off under the provisions of said sectionĀ 3A:8-7, the property so set off shall also be the property exempted from saleĀ under execution.
