2A:53A-1.Ā Joint tortfeasors;Ā single tortfeasor
For the purpose of this act the termĀ "joint tortfeasors"Ā means two or moreĀ persons jointly or severally liable in tort for the same injury to person orĀ property, whether or not judgment has been recovered against all or some ofĀ them.Ā A master and servant or principal and agent shall be considered a singleĀ tortfeasor.
