2A:65-1.Ā Waste by guardian;Ā accounting to ward;Ā treble damages
No guardian shall make or suffer any waste, destruction or wrongful sale ofĀ the inheritance of his ward, or of those things of which he has or may have theĀ custody as guardian but shall keep safely such inheritance to the use of hisĀ ward and keep, sustain and deliver the same, together with all issues andĀ profits, to his ward when he comes of full age, in as good order and conditionĀ as they were when the guardian received them.
If any guardian shall make or suffer any waste, destruction or wrongful saleĀ of the inheritance or property of his ward, he shall be deprived of his trustĀ and remain liable to the ward in treble damages.
