21:2-4.Ā  Application of chapter
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as applying to the transportationĀ  of any article or thing shipped in conformity with the regulations prescribedĀ  by the Interstate Commerce Commission, to the military or naval forces of theĀ  United States, to the duly authorized militia of the State, to the use andĀ  manufacture of signals and fusees necessary for the safe operation ofĀ  railroads, steamboats or aircraft, or to the use of fireworks for agriculturalĀ  purposes in connection with the raising of crops.
