22A:3-6.Ā  Imprisonment for failure to pay costs A person who defaults in the payment of costs assessed against him in accordance with the provisions of section 22A:3-4 of this Title shall be liableĀ  to imprisonment in the county jail for a period of one day for each dollar ofĀ  costs imposed.
