24:11A-6.Ā Enrichment;Ā ingredients
Flour, white bread and rolls which would not otherwise meet the requirementsĀ of this act, may be enriched to meet the vitamin and mineral standards hereofĀ by the addition, in the case of flour, of vitamins and harmless and assimilableĀ iron salts;Ā and, in the case of white bread and rolls, by addition to theĀ flour or the dough mix of vitamins and harmless and assimilable iron salts, orĀ by the use of enriched flour, enriched yeast or other enriching ingredients, orĀ by any combination of harmless methods which will produce white bread or rollsĀ in conformity with the requirements of this act.Ā The enrichment ingredientsĀ shall be uniformly distributed throughout the flour, white bread or rolls.
