24:5-16. "Misbranded"Ā defined
The termĀ "misbranded"Ā as used in this subtitle shall apply to all drugs, articles of food, cosmetics and devices and to articles which enter into the composition of foods, drugs, cosmetics or devices, the package or label of which shall bear any statement or design regarding such article or the ingredients or substances contained therein, which shall be false or misleadingĀ in any particular, and to any food or drug product, or cosmetic, or deviceĀ which is falsely branded as to the State, territory or country in which it isĀ manufactured or produced.
