26:2B-27.Ā Department of health as single agency responsible for treatment; compliance with comprehensive state plan of public treatment and rehabilitation programs or activities
The Department of Health shall be the single State agency designated by theĀ State as the agency primarily responsible for the treatment of intoxicatedĀ persons and alcoholics.Ā All activities, projects or programs for alcoholismĀ treatment and rehabilitation, funded or carried out by any department orĀ political subdivision of the State shall be in compliance with theĀ comprehensive State plan required by section 5 of this act.
