Such codes, rules and regulations shall establish standards and requirementsĀ for the control of air contaminants from motor vehicles manufactured with airĀ pollution control devices, systems or engine modifications consistent with theĀ requirements of theĀ "Motor Vehicle Air Pollution Control Act"Ā (77 Stat. 392,Ā 42 U.S.C. 1857) and any amendments and supplements thereto.
