26:2H-48.Ā Assessment of availability of financial assistance
To facilitate the offering of such assistance, each such facility shall makeĀ an assessment of the extensiveness of the self-pay, private insurance, orĀ medicare capability of each resident no later than 1 week after admission toĀ the facility and on a periodic basis thereafter, provided, however, that noĀ such assessment is made against a resident's will.
