26:2J-6.Ā Governing body
a.Ā The governing body of any health maintenance organization may include providers, other individuals, or both.
b.Ā Such governing body shall establish a mechanism to afford the enrolleesĀ an opportunity to participate in matters of policy and operation through theĀ establishment of advisory panels, by the use of advisory referenda on majorĀ policy decisions, or through the use of other mechanisms.
