26:3A2-15.Ā Necessity of license by employee with certain type and class ofĀ work
No local health agency shall appoint or employ any person as health officer,Ā public health laboratory technician, sanitary inspector, veterinary meatĀ inspector or plumbing inspector nor appoint or employ any person to do workĀ ordinarily performed by a health officer, public health laboratory technicianĀ or an inspector of any of the classes named who is not the holder of a currentĀ license or certificate issued by the State Department of Health authorizing theĀ performance of such type and class of work.
