26:4-71.3.Ā Leaving hospital against medical advice;Ā report to local boardĀ of health
If any person afflicted with tuberculosis in a communicable form shall leaveĀ any hospital against medical advice, the administrator shall report such personĀ to the local board of health of the municipality in which such patient wasĀ residing when admitted to the hospital and to the State Commissioner of HealthĀ within 12 hours.Ā Such report shall be in writing and shall state whether theĀ person is afflicted with tuberculosis in a communicable form.
