26:6-49.Ā Amount;Ā recovery
Except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter, any person violating any provision of this chapter, or falsifying any certificate or record established by this chapter, or failing or refusing to perform any duty required by this chapter, shall be subject to a penalty of not less than $50.00Ā nor more than $100.00 for each offense.
Such penalties shall be recovered in a civil action in the name of the StateĀ department or local board in any court of competent jurisdiction including theĀ municipal court.
