27:14-36.Ā Restrictions on municipal improvements
The proper authorities of any municipality through which any such road runsĀ may make any municipal improvement upon or within the road within the limits ofĀ the municipality which may be authorized by law to be made in any of the otherĀ public streets or roads of the municipality, but no such improvement shall beĀ made by the municipal authorities which may interfere with or impair theĀ roadway improved under the provisions of this article without the approval andĀ consent of the board of chosen freeholders of the county within which the roadĀ is located.
