27:17-17.Ā Bonds;Ā use of proceeds;Ā control of funds
The moneys derived from the sale of bonds shall be turned over to and remainĀ as a fund in the hands of the county treasurer, to be used only for the purposeĀ of putting and keeping such road and lighting plant in good repair andĀ condition, and shall be drawn upon warrants signed by the president andĀ secretary of the boulevard commission.Ā The board of chosen freeholders shallĀ have no control over such funds, but shall raise them in the mannerĀ hereinbefore provided upon the requisition of the boulevard commissioners.
