27:19-32.2.Ā Legal investments, evidences of indebtedness of commission as
The bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness of such commissions areĀ hereby made securities in which, notwithstanding any restriction contained inĀ any other law, the State and all public officers, municipalities, counties,Ā political subdivisions and public bodies, and agencies thereof, all banks,Ā bankers, trust companies, savings banks and institutions, building and loanĀ associations, savings and loan associations, investment companies, and otherĀ persons carrying on a banking business, all insurance companies, insuranceĀ associations and other persons carrying on an insurance business, and allĀ executors, administrators, guardians, trustees and other fiduciaries, mayĀ legally invest any sinking funds, moneys or other funds belonging to them orĀ within their control, and any such bonds, notes or other evidences ofĀ indebtedness shall be authorized security for any and all public deposits.
