27:7-33.Ā Time for awarding of contract;Ā extension;Ā return of proposal bonds
The commissioner shall award the contract or reject the bids therefor withinĀ 30 working days after the bids are received, except that this time limit may beĀ extended by mutual agreement, and all proposal bonds which have been deliveredĀ with the bids, except those of the two lowest responsible bidders, shall beĀ returned within 3 working days after such bids are received.Ā Any and all bidsĀ may be rejected when the commissioner determines that it is in the publicĀ interest to do so.
