30:14-1.Ā Purpose
The Legislature finds and declares that there is a present and growing needĀ to develop services to protect victims of domestic violence.Ā It is the purposeĀ of this act to encourage the development of shelters for these victims andĀ their children where they may obtain necessary services, including shelter,Ā counseling and other social services.
