30:4D-28.Ā Report to Governor and legislature
Within 6 months of the effective date of this act, the commissioner shall submit a report to the Governor and the Legislature including but not limited to the following:
a.Ā The effects of definitional changes in the statute, such as residency and legend drugs;
b.Ā The use of drug utilization review methods in order to curtail the abuseĀ or inappropriate use of particular drugs;
c.Ā A cost-analysis of alternative methods for administering the program andĀ reimbursing participating pharmacists;
d.Ā The effects of excluding from eligibility those persons whose prescription drug costs are covered in part by any other plan of assistance or insurance.
