30:4-75.Ā Amount of recovery
In any suit for the recovery of the cost of maintenance of a patient able toĀ pay the full cost of hospitalization in any institution of this State, in theĀ absence of express contract stipulating the amount to be paid, the rate asĀ fixed pursuant to section 30:4-67 of this Title shall be construed to be theĀ reasonable and necessary cost advanced for the maintenance of such patient.
