30:9-12.14.Ā Consolidation of county hospitals with other agencies and facilities
The board of chosen freeholders in any such county establishing a hospital pursuant to this act by resolution, may consolidate its county hospitals, homesĀ for the aged, almshouses, psychiatric wards and other similar county agenciesĀ and facilities on suitable lands owned by the county and erect, enlarge,Ā furnish and maintain suitable buildings thereon for such purpose. Upon theĀ adoption of any such resolution such county hospitals, homes for the aged,Ā almshouses, psychiatric wards and other similar county agencies and facilitiesĀ shall be regulated by the provisions of this act and the terms of all membersĀ of boards of managers, superintendents, and other officers, not being civilĀ service employees, shall cease.Ā The rights of all persons having civil serviceĀ status shall not be impaired by this act.
