30:9-12.5.Ā Powers and duties of board of managers
The board of managers shall fix the salaries of the superintendent and otherĀ officers and employees subject to the approval of the board of chosen freeholders within the limitations of the appropriation made therefor, and suchĀ salaries shall be full compensation for all services rendered.
The board of managers shall have the general superintendence, management andĀ control of the hospital, its personnel and the patients and all matters relating to its government, discipline, contracts and fiscal concerns; shall make necessary rules and regulations;Ā shall adopt by-laws;Ā shall furnish suchĀ reports, estimates of appropriations and other information as may be requiredĀ by the board of chosen freeholders;Ā shall perform such other duties andĀ enforce such other regulations as from time to time may be prescribed by theĀ board of chosen freeholders.
