32:3-14.Ā Compact to have force and effect of statute
Upon its signature on behalf of the state of New Jersey and by the governorĀ of Pennsylvania on behalf of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the aforesaidĀ compact or agreement shall be and become binding and shall have the force andĀ effect of a statute of the state of New Jersey, and the Delaware River JointĀ Commission shall thereupon become vested with all the powers, rights andĀ privileges and be subject to the duties and obligations contained in saidĀ compact or agreement as though the same were specifically authorized andĀ imposed by statute and the state of New Jersey shall be bound by all of theĀ obligations assumed by it under said compact or agreement, and the New JerseyĀ Interstate Bridge Commission shall transmit an original signed copy thereof toĀ the secretary of state for filing in his office.
