33:1-71.Ā Officers to use diligence;Ā arrests
To the end that local police and other enforcing agencies shall enforce thisĀ chapter in the interest of economy and effective control, all officers shallĀ use all due diligence to detect violations of this chapter and shall apprehendĀ the offenders and make a proper complaint before a magistrate. Arrests may beĀ made as in other cases of misdemeanors.
