The deputy commissioners, chief inspectors and inspectors shall be providedĀ with certificates of authority by the secretary of state, which shall beĀ exhibited on demand by the person in charge of any place about to be inspectedĀ or investigated.
The commissioner may provide badges for department and bureau officers and inspectors.
