38A:6-4.Ā Extension of terms of service
If an emergency is declared by the President, Congress, the Governor or theĀ Legislature, the Governor may by proclamation, in accordance with Federal andĀ State laws and regulations, extend the enlistments of enlisted members of theĀ organized militia until 6 months after the termination of that emergency.
