39:2-9.2.Ā Reemployment rights
A person employed in a position designated as chief inspector, deputy chiefĀ inspector, inspector, special inspector or equivalent Civil Service classifications shall have the following reemployment rights:
a.Ā The person may be appointed, at his request and at the discretion of theĀ superintendent of the Division of State Police, as a member of the State Police;Ā or
b.Ā The person shall be reemployed by the State of New Jersey, as provided by the laws governing Civil Service.
