39:3B-5.2.Ā Duration of use of school buses with gross vehicle weight over 25,000 pounds
School buses of the transit type whose gross vehicle weight (G.V.W.) exceedsĀ 25,000 pounds shall not be used for pupil transportation purposes beyond theĀ end of the twentieth year from the date of manufacture, as noted on the vehicleĀ registration, or at the end of the school year in which that date falls,Ā whichever is later.
