4:3-11.16.Ā Stop sale orders
If, after inspection, the secretary determines that any eggs are being offered, displayed, stored, processed, or transported in violation of this act,Ā the secretary may issue a stop sale order as to such eggs directed to the ownerĀ or custodian thereof.Ā Such order shall specify the reason for its issuance andĀ shall detail the character of the violation.Ā No eggs to which a stop saleĀ order applies shall be marketed until and unless the order has been withdrawn. Such order shall continue in effect until the law has been complied with andĀ such eggs are released in writing by the secretary or until such stop saleĀ order is otherwise legally terminated, and in either case, upon the payment ofĀ the costs and expenses incurred in connection therewith.
