4:5-106.17.Ā  Committee representing swine industry The board shall appoint a committee of 5 representatives of the swine industry of the State, 1 of whom shall be a producer of grain-fed swine, and 4 of whom shall be feeders of cooked or treated garbage.Ā  The members of this committee shall be appointed for 3-year terms running from January 1 to JanuaryĀ  1, 3 years thereafter except that of the first members appointed, 1 shall beĀ  for a term of 1 year, 2 for a term of 2 years and 2 for a term of 3 years, asĀ  designated by the board.Ā  Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner for theĀ  unexpired term only.Ā  The committee shall serve as an advisory committee to theĀ  board and to the secretary on all matters pertaining to the swine industry andĀ  to the control of contagious and infectious diseases of swine.Ā  All members ofĀ  the committee shall serve without compensation.
