4:5-27.Ā Indemnity receivable by owner of slaughtered animal
For each bovine animal so killed to prevent the spread of tuberculosis, theĀ owner shall receive the net proceeds of the sale of the animal and in additionĀ thereto shall, subject to the provisions of
R.S. 4:5-10, be paid an indemnity based on the market value of the animal orĀ animals to be slaughtered immediately prior to the time of the discovery of theĀ infection, subject to the rules and regulations promulgated by the board.
